  8. I am NEVER hungry! I rarely even think about food except to quickly track my Protein. It is such a change from pre-op where I felt that my whole life revolved around food! I know this won't last forever(or so I have read), but I hope it sticks around for as long as possible!
  9. I drink coffee daily- I add Protein in my morning iced latte- it helps me meet my protein goals! ???????????????????? My surgeon doesn't require giving up coffee post-op. I would ask your surgeon his thoughts and the reasoning behind it and make an informed decision.

  12. I ❤️❤️ Dr. Weiner. He is my surgeon! I am a fan of his YouTube videos and book. His post surgery plan was what grabbed my attention. I didn't want surgery to lose weight, but not have nutritionally dense diet. I am just over 3 months post-op and trying to slowly shift over to a veggies first approach. I have only recently started tolerating a few more foods. I have been pretty limited following surgery.
  13. I have been using them since the first month-- I was having trouble with even the chewable vitamins. I my first labs at the end of this month-- I will update on them then!
  14. My doctor old caffeine too- I was given green light when discharged from hospital on Day 3.

  16. Fantastic!! You will be at your goal before you know it!
  17. I have been crocheting a lot to keep my mind busy! It helps not think about snacks my husband and kiddo can eat! ????
  18. You might want to find a few activities you can do at home when bored instead of eating. That is head hunger not true hunger. Also maybe plan some Snacks that are in high Protein. Wheat thins won't help you meet your goals in the long run-- try not to buy them, eh?
