itstimealready got a reaction from Hoppy123 in Unusual rapid weight after years post op?!I had sleeve surgery in 2016 and got down to 160 pounds, then lost the last 30 doing keto. I stayed at 130 pounds almost perfect for me for 3 years then all the sudden this covid quarantine has me 23 pounds weight gain in just a few months! I’m eating sweets like crazy and bread and just a complete carb fest I don’t know what has gotten into me but it’s scaring me. -
I've been taking Wellbutrin for several years. It didn't interfere whatsoever with my weight loss.

itstimealready reacted to catwoman7 in weight gain after surgeryLosing regain is tough (not to mention slow), but people manage to do it. Some people have had luck with intermittent fasting or Weight Watchers (their new plan sounds intriguing). Others go back to way they were eating in the first year or two after surgery - not all the way back to protein shakes and purees, but focusing on protein first, then non-starchy veggies, and then, if you have room, maybe a small serving of fruit or "good" (like whole-grain) carb. If you do this method, you'll probably want to be mindful of calories as well. I still track mine at five years out - when I don't, my weight starts heading north pretty fast.

itstimealready reacted to heidikat72 in The Me vs Her PerspectiveI would just like to say that in addition to your physical transformation being wonderful, it is really your emotional transformation that I find so inspiring! I can especially relate to the "I didn't hate myself because I was obese, I was obese because I hated myself" idea. Learning to love ourselves takes work and in many ways is the scariest/hardest part of this journey for me.

itstimealready reacted to hammer1 in Sorry, the sex is bad!You are 100% correct, but isn't that all the more reason not to give of yourself so quickly and easily. He hung around long enough to get what he was after and then took off. If that's what both parties want out of the deal, then no one gets hurt, but as you see, that is very rarely the case.
It's been the same way since time began. When will we ever learn?

itstimealready reacted to marjon9 in Sorry, the sex is bad! What happened here is that two adults had a little fling, and one broke up with the other. They had a fling because they both wanted to. It is simply not true that women agree to sex before marriage only because the man makes false promises of true love. That is just ridiculous. News flash: Women like sex. All this guy said is that he broke up because they were not sexually compatible. He never said it was because she was a big woman. This was her conclusion. It might be worth having a look at the actual facts here for a minute or two. There is simply no basis for pounding on this guy for three days about what a jerk he is.

itstimealready reacted to SlimTarnishedDiva in Sorry, the sex is bad!Rule one: You never date, or sex anyone that has never dated a big woman before(try not to be their experiment)
..besides we have the same parts a size 2 have,...ours are just in 3D!
Rule two: (most important) Love and be happy with the person you are..sometimes it shows in every little thing we do...
Rule three: Screw him..If you had to do A LOT for him..without him giving it back ten-fold, then he is selfish...Your satisfaction should have been priority number 1!
Rule four: Never give your all or try so hard the first few times...ration it out a little...:omg:
