I've found two negatives from major weight loss!

  • Popular Post

Ok these may just be mine but I've found two negatives from losing a large amount of weight. I've discovered both of these while taking a bath (figured I may as well set the scene) 1) My once plump butt is boney, and I'm talking sit down to shave my legs and it hurts boney. I feel like my skinny friends really dropped the ball on not telling me this! I'm going to have to seriously rethink my friendships since it's blatantly obviously they care nothing about my well being. 2) The weirdest one, shaving my underarms! It's like someone came and built the Grand Canyon under my arms! WTH happened under there?!! I swear if it were any deeper I would be shaving my lungs!! So odd! I have to literally pull contortionist moves to get everything shaved properly. Isn't November no shave month?! I think I'm going to join the men on that one because this shaving is for the birds!! I know you guys have some you could share too! Maybe give a girl a heads up before I forgo bathing all together. ;) I would include pictures but Alex would probably frown on that so use your imagination ;)

This website is so refreshing! We have armpits disappearing and "jina's" reappearing!! It's like a WL magic show in here today!

@@onesleevedmamma I'm so glad I'm not alone! Boney-butt-itis hurts!

Sure does! ;) hehe

Lmbo. You have a great way of phrasing :) I needed a laugh. Thank you!

Yeah the boney butt feels like sitting on jagged rocks! Also, boney knees have been hurting me. At night trying to sleep on my side with on one leg on top of the other I have to realign my knees so they aren't on top of each cause it freakin hurts.

Yes! I try to tuck one knee behind the other. I've tried one of those pillows in between my knees but I toss and turn too much to keep it there.

I never noticed I have coarse hair on my upper arm, but now that the surface area is smaller, all the little follicles have gotten together and become bushy friends. And I have added an ergonomic pillow to my office chair because I lost so much of my "natural" padding. ;-)

@@ShrinkingPeach The way I see it there's always a bright side, if I do something good I can just jump up and down and my body will clap for me!!!

OK! this one made me laugh out loud!!

I lost hair, not only on my head. All my armpit hair is gone, or maybe turned into very fine blond/grey wisps. On my legs, I just pluck the few longish dark hairs that remain or ignore them altogether. The hair on top of my head has gone from thick, straight and strong, to curly, frizzy and thin. I don't know if this is from the weight loss, or from genetics. As my mom got older, she lost a lot of hair too.

I've unfortunately gained back 20 pounds and am no longer in onederland, but this hasn't made any difference to the changes in my hair status!

Maybe we all expect our blobs to deflate someone but no one told me that my were going to go from 38F to to a 32B when am laid down it looks like pan cake.

I'm one month out and the first thing I noticed was my knees hurt in the morning also...I couldn't figure out why until the next night I turned over on my side and felt the bruises...my knees hadn't touched in my adult life and now I'm premenopausal!!! Can't wait for the next hurdle...keep em com ok g!!
