  6. I believe you guys but I can't chime in since I'm against against anything that alters your mind, although that would make me a hypocrite since I've been on a type of runner's euphoria since my surgery, and I'm addicted to this weight training I'm doing so I guess things that are mind altering can also cause addiction........ And I've had alcohol a couple of times since surgery, mostly wine, so who am I to judge....... Hope you know I posted this to make people smile, and realize that we are all different for a reason, how can we even judge others after what some of us have been through???? Food for thought
  7. First pic from late 2014 with me at 388lbs, and me last weekend and 6 months out....... @ 267lbs and going!!!!
  8. We see that all the time at my work, it's called self medicating, but things like marijuana and even alcohol can not only be among other things, gateway drugs, but also mask true underlying issues, and eventually lead to a severe drop in mood, and even suicide, it's like putting a bandaid on a deep wound, and it's very hard because patients will swear up and down that they do better on it, it's hard to get it into their heads that it is a matter of time.........
  9. I chose never to touch illegal drugs, and now it is almost not illegal, but I still choose not to do things like that, I work in a psych hospital and ironically I don't even like psych meds, but I've seen benefits of people who need medical marihuana, so I will never judge others who take it, as with my surgery and wanting to changes lifestyle it will never make everyone happy, but it about me not them......
  10. Mine became very lumpy and could be felt under my skin when I payed down, my surgeon told me exactly the same thing and it went away after 3 weeks, it was under the bigger incision and the muscle was manipulated..........
