Did you "force" yourself to eat things post op that you never liked before?

Gained 6 lbs this week. 1 mo PO
I was going to ask about constipation, too. I'm 6 weeks post-op and am just now "going" more regularly (but not daily) . I had to rely on miralax for a while, too. Can you reach out to your nutritionist and show your food log for some guidance?

day 2 of preop liquid diet and I messed up!
broth with some Better than Bouillion base mixed in...it is super flavorful and helped me through the liquid prep stage. I thankfully didn't have to do 2 weeks before. I feel for you!!! The two weeks after were bad enough. GOOD LUCK!!!

Is there something I can have besides this...?
be careful!!! I know it's an annoying, tiring phase, but you don't want to harm your new pouch.

Starbucks Unicorn Frappucino
It scares me to see young people sucking these down on the regular with no concern. I saw two teens walking to my boys' school last week with venti fraps in hand (one was unicorn one was caramel). Breakfast of champions? I think not!!

24 hour before surgery liquid diet help
I only drank broth, gatorade, flavored waters (using crystal light or mio drops) and hot tea...oh and s/f jello. post op (in hospital) I didn't really eat anything as I was done with broth at that point (I had to do two days) and jello is gross. lol Good luck to you!!!

What Were (or Are) Your Pre-Op WLS Requirements?
I honestly didn't mind the pre-op requirements. I had the basics....nut, psych, extensive blood work, chest xray, ekg, endoscopy (due to a history of heartburn/reflux). I had a 6 mo wait through insurance and had to see my primary dr each month. I was motivated and focused and ready to do whatever I needed to do for the surgery. As for pre-op diet, I only had 2 days of liquids and a bowel prep. I was asked to lose 15 lbs pre-op and did just that through my 6 mo weight management program, diet and exercise. Self pay was not an option.
