  14. I was going to ask about constipation, too. I'm 6 weeks post-op and am just now "going" more regularly (but not daily) . I had to rely on miralax for a while, too. Can you reach out to your nutritionist and show your food log for some guidance?

  16. broth with some Better than Bouillion base mixed in...it is super flavorful and helped me through the liquid prep stage. I thankfully didn't have to do 2 weeks before. I feel for you!!! The two weeks after were bad enough. GOOD LUCK!!!
  17. be careful!!! I know it's an annoying, tiring phase, but you don't want to harm your new pouch.
  18. amazing....can't wait to see more updates !!!
  19. Wow thank you for sharing your experience....your post op and healing pictures are amazing.
  20. Wow, what a stunning transformation. Congratulations !!!
  21. It scares me to see young people sucking these down on the regular with no concern. I saw two teens walking to my boys' school last week with venti fraps in hand (one was unicorn one was caramel). Breakfast of champions? I think not!!
  22. I only drank broth, gatorade, flavored waters (using crystal light or mio drops) and hot tea...oh and s/f jello. post op (in hospital) I didn't really eat anything as I was done with broth at that point (I had to do two days) and jello is gross. lol Good luck to you!!!
  23. I honestly didn't mind the pre-op requirements. I had the basics....nut, psych, extensive blood work, chest xray, ekg, endoscopy (due to a history of heartburn/reflux). I had a 6 mo wait through insurance and had to see my primary dr each month. I was motivated and focused and ready to do whatever I needed to do for the surgery. As for pre-op diet, I only had 2 days of liquids and a bowel prep. I was asked to lose 15 lbs pre-op and did just that through my 6 mo weight management program, diet and exercise. Self pay was not an option.
  24. congratulations. Your hard work is paying off. Love your smile !!!
  25. Wow, you look AMAZING!!! I'm sure you feel fab, too. Thanks for sharing !!!
