  6. Thank you both. I just wondered if the little stomach will be big enough to hold the large colonies good bacteria that is healthy to have.
  7. I've been reading about The importance of taking pro biotics. Does anyone know if having the sleeve surgery will take away a lot of the good bacteria colonies in your stomach? And do any of you take probiotics?

  14. I started out wanting the band bc it can be temporary. Then found out that there are tons of complications. It can slip, many don't lose all there excess weight, there are more food restrictions and you have to have an access port.. Then I wanted the sleeve and still do. Less food restrictions later on. Better nutrient absorbability. Less complications if you follow the rules.
  15. The Kaiser in Fremont likes the Sleeve the best. They do Bi pass if needed and rarely if ever to Lap band
  16. Thanks! I was doubting whether to have the surgery.. But today I didn't do as well on my diet and cheated ( I've lost 8 pounds in 8 days) Surgery is what I need for sure! How are you doing Dream?
  17. I was referring to the types of food, rather than the quantity. But I'm reading here that as time goes on, we will be able to eat more.. But not too much... Which is the whole point of the surgery, right? ....feeling full with less food.. Guess we gotta just flat out not love food as much ????
  18. Fruit is sugar with vitamins and fiber in it RAW (not cooked processed) Honey Is sugar with vitamins.. Both in moderation is healthy

  20. Thanks.. Yah that's fast.. It'll be about 10 weeks for me.. I've done all those too.. I'm following the plan Kaiser gave me . I have 12 more pounds of the 20 the surgeon requires me to lose
