Thank you both. I just wondered if the little stomach will be big enough to hold the large colonies good bacteria that is healthy to have.

I had gastric bypass and my doctor told me it was mandatory we take probiotics right after surgery everyday for 6 months. That's all I know on that though I didn't ask why which I should have.

I've been reading about The importance of taking pro biotics. Does anyone know if having the sleeve surgery will take away a lot of the good bacteria colonies in your stomach? And do any of you take probiotics?
