Casper I met with Dr Dutta today. He approved me for surgery. I have to lose 20 pounds. How are you doing?

Kegels are SO important. My bladder prolapsed last year. If I had done more kegels through the years, I might have avoided this. Now all I can do is do em and try and strengthen my pelvic floor so that the bladder will not drop lower and it might even go back up a bit

Greek yogurt mixed with flavored liquid Stevia or sugar free Jello or pudding is yum.

Hi y'all How many carbs and sugars are allowed per day on liquid diet ? And Is it 60 or more grams of Protein per day? What is recommended for grams of Protein Carbs and Sugars For each meal on liquid diet?

Casper Did Kaiser require you to have to do a 2-4 week pre op diet of protein shakes only?

I meet with the Surgeon this Thursday the 29th.. So it all depends on how long it takes me ???? I'll keep you posted.. Thanks Casper!

Hi everyone, I hope it's not too late to join this thread. I haven't had surgery yet. I meet with dietician and surgeon in a week. I feel that surgery is a tool like everyone is saying. But the Bible says to be moderate, to not be given to appetite.. If the sleeve helps me to be and obedient and disciplined daughter of God, then PRAISE the Lord!!!! Right? God Bless, Heidi

TeamMe I have been feeling what you are saying. I too am a Christian...Jesus is everything to me. I lost weight on a system of products I represent (67 ponds) I even won 2nd place in a challenge.. Trouble is, I gained 40 of it back.. This yoyoing will stop!! The products I represent DO work.. But my weight problems are a bit deeper.. I NEED a smaller tummy....PERIOD!!! I just get too hungry.. So, what I plan on doing after surgery: When I meet with someone about my business or products I represent.. I will tell them about our weight loss product system.. But I will listen more than I talk... If they are 20-40 pounds overweight, I will not tell them about my surgery. If they are obese, and have had lots of struggles like me, I will tell them. My goal in life is to help others.. If telling them will help them.. So be it. I will ask the Holy Spirit to guide me. But.. That being said... It REALLY IS nobody's business.. My husband helped me with this. And the changes we have to make to work with our sleeve is real. Some people can make those changes without a sleeve....some people can't. God bless Heidi

Has/is......anyone out there gotten/getting ...their surgery done at Kaiser Permanente in Fremont? In one week today I have my orientation and Dietician and Surgeon appointments at Kaiser. Is there any certain way I should eat during this week that might help me to get my surgery date sooner? I don't know how long I'll have to wait to get my psychology appointment.. What has been people's experience with the Fremont facility? Thanks, Heidi
