  3. It will get better.. I am 6 months now And in beginning had my ups and downs with that.
  4. 7/9 Surgery.. High weight 207 surgery weight 201 Current weight 157 Size 16 to a 10.. (Some 8's fit me) Best decision ever! Wish I had more energy.. And def not drinking enough water.. But that's always been an issue for me.
  5.    halfpintvsg reacted to a post in a topic: Funniest NSV yet!
  6.    halfpintvsg reacted to a post in a topic: Never noticed. Picture included

  8. Love the jack! And leggings aren't to shabby either????
  9. Similar to RA, I have psoriatic arthritis. I was sleeved 7/8 and find that my joint pain has lessened. I was on Enbrel shots prior to surgery, but went to Otezla pills to try based on no side effects.. I should be taking 2 - 30mg a day and only doing one a day by choice. I don't want the progression of arthritis to grow otherwise I might not even need the meds.
  10. I had a tummy tuck in 2009. Just had WLS on 7/8. All went well. ????
  11.    Elode reacted to a post in a topic: Embarrassing tummy picture 8 months post-op!
  12. @@Elode you look awesome. Do you mind if I ask SW and your height? And I have 2 jacks!
  13. I sometimes get hunger pains.. But I think it's because I am not getting all my water in. My surgeon says that you will at some point get hungry. I didn't for the first couple weeks post op. But like I said, when I do feel it, all I do is drink some water and it subsides.
  14. I'd be worried about the munchies!

  16.    brandeett reacted to a post in a topic: Having a lot of pain/spasms
  17. Def eat meat first as suggested.. I only have some pain when I am eating protein because I ate to fast.
  18. I had same spasms or contraction sort of feeling. It def gets better. Hang in there.
  19.    Bndtoslv reacted to a post in a topic: The dreaded stall....
  20. I lost 19 lbs in first 10 days post op, but I have not lost more than a pound or two in the last 10 days. I was sleeved 7/8. Def discouraging, but staying positive and hoping it will come off more when my body is ready.. I am more of a 2-3 week stall.
  21. I find that if I eat and drink I am more likely to have food come back up. The NUT said liquid will sit on top of food and make its way back up, not to mention taking space in your stomach with liquid instead of protein.
  22. Out of Hackensack, Englewood and Holy Name Hospitals?
  23.    nicolewilliams reacted to a post in a topic: Throbbing in my sleeve?!
  24. Happens no matter temp. Nothing's typically never cold. Warm or room temp
