  1. It will get better.. I am 6 months now And in beginning had my ups and downs with that.
  2. 7/9 Surgery.. High weight 207 surgery weight 201 Current weight 157 Size 16 to a 10.. (Some 8's fit me) Best decision ever! Wish I had more energy.. And def not drinking enough water.. But that's always been an issue for me.
  3. Love the jack! And leggings aren't to shabby either????
  4. Similar to RA, I have psoriatic arthritis. I was sleeved 7/8 and find that my joint pain has lessened. I was on Enbrel shots prior to surgery, but went to Otezla pills to try based on no side effects.. I should be taking 2 - 30mg a day and only doing one a day by choice. I don't want the progression of arthritis to grow otherwise I might not even need the meds.
  5. I had a tummy tuck in 2009. Just had WLS on 7/8. All went well. ????
  6. @@Elode you look awesome. Do you mind if I ask SW and your height? And I have 2 jacks!
  7. I sometimes get hunger pains.. But I think it's because I am not getting all my water in. My surgeon says that you will at some point get hungry. I didn't for the first couple weeks post op. But like I said, when I do feel it, all I do is drink some water and it subsides.
  8. I'd be worried about the munchies!
  9. Def eat meat first as suggested.. I only have some pain when I am eating protein because I ate to fast.
  10. I had same spasms or contraction sort of feeling. It def gets better. Hang in there.
  11. I lost 19 lbs in first 10 days post op, but I have not lost more than a pound or two in the last 10 days. I was sleeved 7/8. Def discouraging, but staying positive and hoping it will come off more when my body is ready.. I am more of a 2-3 week stall.
  12. I find that if I eat and drink I am more likely to have food come back up. The NUT said liquid will sit on top of food and make its way back up, not to mention taking space in your stomach with liquid instead of protein.
  13. Out of Hackensack, Englewood and Holy Name Hospitals?
  14. Happens no matter temp. Nothing's typically never cold. Warm or room temp
  15. Sounds like the contractions I get with food or drinking. Such a weird feeling. Makes me a bit nervous
  16. Went for my post op visit. He said that it should get better. Is this true? The wave of cramping/contraction I get def makes me whence. It's not with every bite or drink.. But def there more than I would like it to be. Is my body telling me something is wrong? He said if it hasn't subsided by my next visit or gets worse he will send me for a CT scan. Please tell me you all felt this and it's normal!
  17. @@meggieo79 I am having those cramping feelings as well. Sleeved 7/8. Reading it is normal, but boy that pain makes me wonder wth!
  18. Is normal. I feel almost like a contraction when anything hits my stomach. Is it normal due to healing? Is it reflux or GERD? I'm just curious how many feel this sensation. I am 1 week post -op. Rather than that cramping sensation, I'm feeling ok. Thoughts?
  19. I know a lot of people had different pre-op diets. What about post op?
  20. Sleeved on 7/8. Each day is better. Just sore. Had small hiatal hernia repair as well. Still on water. Gonna try protein shake today. Not hungry, but smell of food depending on what it is can make me want it or run from the smell. I still feel the water traveling all the way down my esophagus and hit my stomach which I am told will pass. I am excited to be where I am and no real issues. Glad to here everyone is doing well also.
  21. I'm doing good. Sore and uncomfortable. Hard to get sleep in hospital due to noise and bells going off.. So I'd get up and walk the halls 2am, 4am, 7am. Etc. still on water only. I can actually feel the water go down my esophagus into my stomach.. And I'm talking a sip out of a one ounce cup. All normal from what I've need told and have read.
