Anyway shortly after me lifting my oldest I got pain near my belly button incision and slightly to the left. Now every time I bend over it hurts!!! It does it hurt just sitting here just when I bend over? You think just a muscle? Or shld I get this looked at?
  2. Hi! Well I have been having a whole Greek yogurt in the am, then like 1/3 cup of cottage cheese, then a few hrs later 2 tbsp of chicken salad, then a cheese stick then finally a meatball? That's what I had today-I just feel like that's a lot for 3 weeks out? And it fills me up but no lie 2hrs later and I'm hungry :-/
  3. Hi! I am about 3.5 weeks post op and doing well! I am just concerned about my hunger/fullness. I am eating like every 3hrs and am truly hungry at that time. I begin to feel nauseous and stomach growls etc... I'll have say 1/3 cup of cottage cheese or a few bites of chicken salad. Is this normal? I sometimes feel or question if I'm eating too much? And wonder if this hunger is normal. I see so many posts where ppl say they have absolute no hunger. Thanks!!
  4. Hi! I am 17 days post op and doing well! I am still on liquids and protein shakes. I was allowed to have yogurt and creamed/strained soups this week. Anyway I had tomato soup today and it went down fine but a ton of gurgling!! I also have it on occasion w the yogurt? Is this normal? Like I can feel it go down and then it's feels like bubbles in my throat down to my stomach? Will it get better??
  5. Thank you! I know I hope it goes away as time passes!
  6. Wow!!! You look great! 75lbs in less than 3 mos-amazing!! Any secrets to share ??
  7. Thanks guys! I guess I'll just embrace the gurgling for now lol!
  8. Not sure if this is the norm but when I drink and shortly after my stomach/esophagus area gurgles. It feels so weird? Is this normal? Will it ever go away? Also-on occasion I get cramping when drinking, will that go away as well? TIA!
  9. I definitely felt that way yesterday! I listened to my body and everyone else and relaxed all day and today I just got back from a 2 mile walk :-) so I think it does get better? At least I hope it stays that way. Also I increased my fluids yesterday which helped!
  10. Thank you! I appreciate your replies! I felt better and just got up again and feel weak so I am going to concentrate on fluids like you said! It's just a weird feeling! Hoping it passes soon-I am such a worry wort it is awful!!!
  11. No I'm not diabetic but maybe my blood sugar dropped a bit? How are you feeling day 4? What's your activity level and pain? You know I just took my vitamins for the first time today so maybe that is it?
  12. No it actually doesn't take that long typically half hour to sip. Ugh I can't have anything for another 2 weeks just the shakes and cl liq. I guess if I'm doing well at the 2 week mark I can add yogurt. How are you feeling overall? Hoping this gets better fast!
  13. I am doing 4oz of shake every hour and alternating w 4oz of low cal Gatorade and keep doing that back n forth. They gave us a tentative schedule to follow. I got 60g of protein in yest and 62oz of fluid yest. Maybe I'll try to up my protein today??
  14. I just had my protein shake and now onto the G2 drink. So weird cuz I was feeling fine-hoping this is a fluke. When did you start feeling "good"
  15. I have felt pretty good and yesterday was able to get my protein and fluid requirements in. I woke up today and feel weak, shaky and just unwell? No fever and no worse pain? Almost feels like when you have a GI bug and that feeling? Anyone have this? Recommendations? Thx!
