Homemade spaghetti sauce

Recommended Posts

Ok y'all I found a frozen container of some amazing homemade spaghetti sauce in my other freezer. Now that I don't like to eat Pasta due to my new life with my RNY. What suggestion do you all have that I can make with my sauce?? Thanks for your comments and suggestions in advance.

Does it have meat in it? If not, I eat meatballls in sauce and add some ricotta and mozzerella cheese.

Some people love making noodles from butternut squash or zucchini.

I actually use it all the time with onions, green pepper, mushrooms and chicken breast. It is my version of chicken cacciatore and it is absolutely delicious.

I also make meatballs cover them in sauce top with fresh mozerella and parm and bake it in the oven.

I also make lasagna using strips of zucchini for the noodles. Add your cheeses and bake in the oven. I do add ground sirloin to beef up the Protein count.

You can also make eggplant parmesean with it. I use almond flour for the breading on the eggplant. Yum!

Throw it over some boneless chicken in the crock pot with black Beans, red bell pepper, celery, onion, mushrooms and more tomatoes. You might need to add some seasoning but yummm!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
