Went shopping yesterday and for the first time bought NON plus size clothes

  • Popular Post

So, I went shopping yesterday for the first time in a couple of months. And I am proud to say that NOTHING was "plus sized". It was my first non big girl store shopping trip in more time than I can remember. And on top of that, I was buying Large shirts and size 10 jeans. I never thought that I would feel this good so soon. I am so happy! As many others say, wish I had only done this sooner!

If I feel this great at 5 months post op, I cant wait what the future holds!!

Now down to medium blouses and 12 petite pants. Its been a journey one I am super happy I took!

I tried on a dress at Anne Taylor and the XXL was too big on me. The did not have any XL or Large and the Medium was way too small, but I was like, wow. I can wear stuff in this store lol.

I am about a 16 and it's hard to not buy huge tops. Weird dressing this new smaller version of myself when at top weight was a 26/28.

Feels damn good.

Nice! All your work is paying off :-)

Way to go. I totally know this feeling. About two weeks ago I was able to put on a pair of jeans out of American Eagle. Was totally in shock. First time in my adult life I was basically free to shop wherever I want to for clothing with no restrictions. In less than 16 months I've gone from a 5XLT to an XLT and from a 58/56 waist to a 38 waist. Its by far an amazing experience to be a part of. To have your body change so drastically in the good way too I might add.

Lord have mercy! When I hit a size 14 my credit card bills said "stop the madness!!!"

I literally shop til I drop with no regard to finance same as I was eating. I've realized this and going back to basics with both eating and spending habits, practicing some discipline and awareness instead of the gratification of instantaneous feel goods like the caveman inside of me running rampant with a credit card and Starbucks frappaccinos hand in hand [emoji23]

Congrats! It is the absolute best feeling. The only problem is I'm spending so much money. Hahaha. But man does it feel good! I've gone tanning too. Haha

Surgery weight : 219

Current: 182

It's a great feeling. I'm 10.5 weeks out and I've gone from a tight 20 to a loose 16. It's a great feeling.

Congratulations. That's amazing. I'l be there maybe by summer's end. Don't get cocky. You must always keep yourself in check
