  5. We all lose at different rates. Man? Woman? I'm 5'31/2". Was 201.5 on surgery date( 3/2/17). Plus I'm 66yo. My metabolism is in reverse!!! I've read where some people lost 30lbs first month. Well, that will not be me...I've lost 8lbs and I think I'm HOT!!! I've never lost this much on all the gazillion diets I''ve tried. This is a new tool and we have to be patient with it. Never mind what the other guy does, be thankful for YOUR pogress. You will be awesome
  6. concentrate on amount of food choices given. drink your protein drinks and water You will not fail you will do wonderful. Believe in yourself
  7. We are human and sometimes make a wrong choice. Don't beat yourself up. Just get right back on track. We all chose this journey for the same reason... lose weight. Why we chose to lose this weight is different for all of us. We are all in this together. We are winners. And if you want pizza, make your own on whole wheat English muffin. Sinful

  14. I think they mean to walk a lot around the house. This is MAJOR surgery and you need to rest
  15. Hi. I was apprehensive the week before the surgery. I've numerous surgeries and this is the first time I felt that way. You are doing this for YOU. You will have ups/downs but you will achieve ! A new you may be a little scary, but you will "gain" so much. Just the confidence alone will be intoxicating. Good luck. And remember you always have us 24/7. [emoji847]
  16. I was sleeved on 3/2. I was a little apprehensive. I went to church for Ash Wednesday and I felt a calm. I always pray but going to church night before surgery was the best thing I could have done for myself. Good luck with your journey and God bless
