  4. Congratulations. I'm at 1 week follow up which was March 16th surgeries on the six Sara Lee 10 days out I had lost 20 pounds in 10 days. They want to start me on pureed food in my stomach wouldn't take it. And also my stomach is still swollen so why would my nutritionist tell me to do such a thing anyway. I got sick that night when I tried that crap. My goal is to lose weight. And I'm just going to do what my body tells me if I can not taking a chance I'm going to stay on the full liquid diet until I am 4 weeks out.
  5. We have to restrict ourselves. I mean I wouldn't think that you just eat until you feel full. You must set boundaries for yourself restrict yourself. Be strong not weak Only the Strong Survive.
  6. I have my surgery on March 6 hello 20 pounds in 10 days. Can't get much fluids down. It's hard in the beginning. It Is hard but it's worth it. I'm getting a lot better.

  13. And 7 days and I can only get down Jell-O, sugar-free popsicle, and cream of chicken. I'm struggling very hard with the protein shakes. A couple of teaspoons tablespoons I am full

  15. Hi I'm also in Orlando and I am 7 days post-op. But had my surgery done South Florida.
  16. My surgeons head nurse told me that the hiccups is gas coming out
  17. Congratulations I was late on that six and I had so much gas I could not even bear it. The first two days pre-op was the worst. I'm still having gas problems when I lay on my left side in my left shoulder. I'm happy that you did not have that problem. Congratulations and I pray for you a speedy recovery. And Speedy weight loss
  18. It is impossible to get as much protein as they require directly right after surgery. It is impossible to get that much liquid down that they require. But we have to try our best
  19. I take Seroquel as well . But they will not give that to me in the hospital after my surgery. But a lot of pain medicine. There is a lot of pain involved mostly gas but now 7 days out is worth it. And I Canna think that day when they're done with the surgery going to have a different opinion. Just make sure you take all the pain medicine they give you in there trust me you are going to need it. The Seroquel I take it but I take it around 9 pm.
  20. I'm seven days. And I'm always hungry. and I can only eat Jell-o, cream of chicken and some protein shakes. Not much at all not getting much liquid down. But I feel like I can eat a whole Chinese buffet with a lot of seafood. When I sit down to eat I can't even eat I have in my hand
  21. I went and bought a treadmill and a bicycle for my gym at home. My surgeon told me to wait until I see him. Before I use my equipment we have to be cleared for equipment before we use it. Consult your surgeon first. The last thing you want is a leakage. And trust me I know at least four people have had that and ended up in the hospital for weeks. They had to have it redone ,the pouch. I'm in South Florida I had my done at JFK Medical Center. It's very popular and there is always a full office a lot of people is having this done. I had a gastric sleeve surgery
  22. Our stomach is still healing it is too soon to put stress on your stress pouch
