I tend to get them if I drink too fast.

I get the hiccups when my tummy's had enough; it's like a signal that says "We're done here!" I'll hiccup consecutively, about 7-10 times.

I hiccup when I have had enough to eat and am full. I am also sure its due to eating too fast as well. But that is my signal to say DONE! LOL!

I am experiencing this as well even when I sleep. Read all the comments. thanks! I think I get them when I'm hungry full and drink to fast. I too was told it's Gass.
