Size 20 jeans

Just bought a new pair today and they are loose in the waist, but I've got hips, thighs, and calves that are still large.

The last time I was this weight I was a size 16 ????

I'm pre-op, and i've been this size since i was like 15 (34 now).

weight: 272.

height: 5'8"

size: 22/24 depending

I'm an "apple", I'm native and recently diabetic. My lowest in my adult life was 244, and that was training for a marathon. That was a size 16/18, and i was pretty happy then! But i naturally hit about 275 normally, highest was after college, 289.

Congrats on hitting a size 12!

My stats are:

Weight: 126

Height: 5'2

Jeans/Pants: 0,2,4- depends on brand

Shirts- XS

Dresses- XS,S,0,2,4

5'6"

135

Size 4 jeans

But I totally agree that cut of the jeans matters! I have large calves (I say it's from running, but I've always had disproportionately large calves) so for the life of me I can't wear skinny jeans, they don't fit my calves! They have to have a slight flare or boot cut

I feel ya on the large calves, i last measured at 18" and there is almost no fat on them. I inherited them from my mother. It's one thing i actually not expecting to change much, but if they did, it would be nice to fit into normal knee-high boots for once.

You think that's big?!?! You're 5'8" and 272. I'm 5'6" and 167 and my calves are 16.75" still!

Weird thing about my weightloss. My whole life I had big legs. Tree trunk legs I used to call them. I was thin in college and only gained weight when I got pregnant, yet still had big legs and thighs. I could never buy jeans.

This time, my weight came off my legs the most. They are stick legs now!!! Is that not so weird? Rail thin. I have to wear skinny jeans. Even stretch pants can be too big on the legs. Very strange.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
