OK, been doing some thinking, and I believe that I asked my previous question incorrectly.

Basically, I hate down time, so if I have 10 minutes or more of lag time, with nothing to do, I get antsy. I need ideas to fill little spaces of time, between other things, besides pacing the house, lol. Active, impromptu calorie burning things.

I just don't want to sit, any more than I have to, during my waking hours.

I am allergic to housework, but you could always do a task like sweep the porch, fold some clothes, wipe down the shower, etc.

Could you do some art or craft work in your down time? I love love love knitting, crochet, braiding, drawing etc but fitting it in around the kids, work, housework etc is tough. I have small projects on the go that I can pick up and work on for ten minutes or so at a time between all the constant distractions (looking at you kids ????) and it means I at least spend a little time on them most days. Perhaps something like that could work for you too?

Absolutely! I'm very OCD about cleaning, but it's just me to clean up after, so that runs out..............

I do make jewelry and a few other crafty things. Looking for things that burn calories, though

Turn on the music and start dancing. A song typically lasts 3-4 minutes. If you are sitting in a chair do leg lifts or arm circles or toe taps.

Grab some dumb bells and do a quick workout for your arms, do some pushups against the wall or on a chair, run in place, do stretches. Good luck!

I love adult coloring books too! I have a few. I also like to sit on my stability exercise ball and use the resistance bands, while watching something on tv or Netflix.

I have an exercise peddler. I peddled it with my hands pre-op while watching TV. If you are fidgety and need something to do with your hands you might want to consider it. Also, Dumbbells or resistance bands as others have mentioned.

Look up youtube videos and practice the line dancing type dances, you will be surprised how winded you will be but you are burning calories. They have Zumba and lots of different dance types. While you are in the privacy of your space try it.

What type of adult coloring books do you guys use? I bought a couple off of eBay, but I wasn't happy with the quality. Do you have any recommendations?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
