Hey there September sleevers! Any one out there?

Hi! I just started my journey and I am looking forward to chatting with those of you who are on a similar time-frame as myself. My insurance is Cigna so they require a 3 month supervised diet, psych eval and sign off from my primary (which I am worried about, I haven't seen him in 5 years so what if he wont sign off? should I find someone new? suggestions?)

I am aiming for an early September surgery date, my Dr. said it is doable! I am excited and nervous.

I have learned so much already from reading about everyone else's experience it has really helped to calm me down.

I feel like I am obsessed with this and it's all I can think about. I have probably watched 200 youtube videos so far. LOL

Any tips, tricks or advice is welcome and appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I'm 55. I've done great. My biggest problem is that I'm totally uninterested in food. I have to remind myself to eat.

I understand that, I set reminders in my phone. It helps! :)

I am 3 weeks post op and -20 pounds since surgery. Before surgery I lost 14 pounds. I am excited to be able to eat some foods again! And have way more energy now that I am on soft foods. Glad to be getting thru this process successfully! How is everyone else?

doing good, feeling great!

Surgery was 3 weeks ago today and down 11.2lbs. I've got reminders in my phone for eating, vitamins, calcium & gall stone meds! I don't mind the alarms all day, because I feel fantastic! Loving my new sleeved life!

I am 1 week post-op and feel pretty good! SW 255, CW 245.5. Seem to get all supplements in everyday, but struggle with water at times. Already feel like i have caved just today having a few chocolate chips

I'm down 25 since September 2nd. It's amazing! I actually have some trouble eating anything other than soft foods. It feels like it gets stuck after a few bites in my chest. I love cottage cheese and Dannon fit 'n light Greek Yogurt. The vanilla coconut is delicious, only 80 calories and high protein. I've tried salmon and shrimp. Maybe I'm eating too fast odd. Love my sleeve! I started to work out this past week. I can't wait to get to onederland!

Hi everyone, I'm almost 4 weeks post op and down 15 pounds. I'm still feeling a little tired but other than that things are going smoothly.

Surgery date Sept 25. 10 pounds down :)

SW: 268

Hi everyone! I just thought I would pop in and see how everyone is doing so far?

I am feeling great.

scale is under the bed (it messes with my head)

I don't know about the rest of you but I am really looking forward to the new year!

I am sorry that I don't come in here often but the September Sleevers FB group keeps me pretty busy.

If you want to join for support shoot me a message.
