L-toasted sandwich thins w/slice pepper jack

D-farina w/PB2

This morning feeling sooo discouraged so I ate a bowl of Apple Jacks. I just don't know what to do. If this surgery doesn't work what will I do? I started around 245 in April and weighed 222 this morning. The lowest I have been is 217. I am exercising on a stationary bike.

Scorpioqt ~ what is a naked chicken nugget and do you have a recipe for it? Most chicken is too dry for me to handle with my band and I'm looking for some chicken recipes that may be a little more moist. Thanks!

Try to stick in there. It looks like you are still new to your band and I am not sure how many fills you have had. This could be part of the reason you are losing slowly still, because you don't have good restriction yet.

This is a great thread to get ideas on what to eat. Make sure you are weighing and measuring your food and getting in your Water. Follow the rules that your doc gave you, that is something that will really help get you to your goal.

It can be frustrating at times. I was on a 4, close to 5, month plateau and I just started losing again.

Luluc gives good advice about mixing up your calories and exercise. That is something that got my weight loss going again. You can't eat the same thing and do the same exercise every day - you need to mix it up so your body doesn't settle into a rhythm.

Stick with this, it can be slow going, but you can do it!

Hey Becacloud...I like the Hood milk too. Much lower in carbs than skim and not soooo thin looking. Is that why you go with Hood. I think it used to be called Carb Countdown / now Calorie Countdown. I guess since the Atkins craze is gone they tried to reclass it.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
