Hello I was just looking for some drink ideas for when you go out? I don't really like wine and we aren't suppose to drink carbonation like beer/soda... what have you found that works for you? Thanks!

I had a really nice skinny tea drink at red robin last week, really low in calories and tasted good!

I'm not touching any alcohol for a few more months, but I figure once I finally do, Guinness (or any other stout) would probably be a good choice. It's not carbonated like most beers.

I have had one beer since surgery and a couple glasses of prosecco. Yes they are both carbonated a bit but I can't drink much. I've also had a couple small glasses of wine. It just doesn't taste the same to me anymore.

I tried alcohol a couple times and it makes me feel terrible. It goes right to my head. Goes away and then I just feel yucky. I miss being able to drink. I've tried low sugar wine, vodka with crystal light and Water, White Russians and vodka and low sugar cranberry juice.

It was suggested to me that I not drink at all.

Prosecco. The one I like is less carbonated than some and has only 50 cals/glass.

Also it's not too sweet.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
