  12. My goal loss was 111 lbs, at 3 months I had lost 55.8, which was right after the holidays. I reached my goal at 16 1/2 months, it took me 7 months to lose the last 5. I have kept it all off for 5 months now.
  13. How does one get a diagnosis of hypoglycemia? I just looked it up and have many of the symptoms.
  14. I know it is easy to say now, but it will all be worth it!
  15. It could be any combination of the things you mentioned. I would consult a mental health professional sooner rather than later, as you don't want to sabotage your progress. Please keep us posted!
  16. I have screwed up many times, learn from it and move on. You are only human!
  17. It is actually more important to get fluids than to eat. You should call your doctor though, any time you are concerned.
  18. You could also tell them you are fasting. Don't compromise your plan for anyone, especially this early on.
  19. I slept in my own bed, and used pillows. I didn't have any trouble.
  20. I can't offer you a solution for the short term, but mine were always awfully painful. After surgery and 4 months of being in the fetal position with a heating pad on my back and my abdomen, I got an IUD, which I did not at all need for birth control (my husband had s vasectomy) and it has been miraculous! You may want to consider it. I did try the Depoprovera shot but was terrified of the weight gain side effect.
  21. My advice is to eat slowly, don't drink your calories and exercise! Keep us posted!
  22. Comparison is the thief of joy! This is your journey. Work your program and celebrate your successes! We are all different biologically. Follow the rules, exercise when you can and allow yourself to enjoy every one of those 23 lbs. I am rooting for you! Keep us posted!
  23. From Baltimore, MD living in Manassas, VA since 2003.
  24. You are not alone! I am freezing al of the time too. I have a blanket in the car, a heavy sweater in my office and I don't go any wear without a jacket.
