Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

Hello there Band fans....I got banded March 28th-2007.

I told myself....Bycyling would be a very good choice. Fresh air, muscles working for the sake of "Cardio". After one week passed--in April. I purchased three new bikes for me and my two sons. I have defeated many things doing that. No more not riding with my children--we ride as a crew (family). We could not conquer the hill on my street. We used to stop 3 to 4 times before getting to the top ( I did). So now the wheels have turned. My kids ask me---"Daddy can we stop--our legs are burning". Thank God I am doing well now. Now with 21 pounds gone---but just riding bikes. I am ready for the next Journey...The 1st fill--I am looking forward to the next 4 to 6 weeks--maybe 12 or 20 pounds gone...who knows...:faint: this is how I feel on many days after my ride. Today--(8.5 miles) It was walking, riding around the fair in my town--but that is what my speedometer said when it was all over...

They are very yummy. I have tried the orange, strawberry, and black cherry. All of them were very yummy. I also like regular Clif bars too. A little harder to eat but delicious all the same.

  • orange is my fav. I've had punch too, not so good.

  • Okay, so you two concur on the orange, strawberry and black cherry. Cherry is my favorite flavor, so I will get more of that. Thanks, chicas! (I gave y'all "reputation" for this info! I still can't be

I do have a wonderful thing to share. I hit my 100+ mark at the doctir today as well, and I got my picture taken, and am not going back to see him until June 3....I will be right past my 1 year mark.I am setting some serious goals. But what was exciting is that I lost 22 lbs since I was there last month!!! WOHOOOOOOOOOOO

So.....get some sleep turler......this will be so worth it...you have fought hard to get here, and you deserve every bit that you get from the success of the band

HP,

22 pounds in a month is impressive! Espeically nearly a year out from surgery! Congratulations.

You must be kickin some serious ass and taking names.

OJ..

I was just looking at your stats...194! WOW. You have come sooo far! Its easy to forget how far we have come sometimes..so i just wanted to give you some credit! Keep it up lady! Not that you NEED my encouargement. But it is an insperation.

and mine as well. Her and I started at about the same weight, although she is shorter than me. I am truly impressed and honored to be friends with all of you.....

ok. can i just bitch for a second about freaking indigestion - heartburn - reflux - or whatever you want to call it?!?!?

Ouchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

At work (I heart working in a hospital!) I took a couple swigs of maalox, and chewed about 6-8 tums. I talked to my fave Resident there and he suggestion Omeprazole... the walmart version is small tablets... its a once a day acid reducer. We use it alot at the hospital So, I'm taking that once a day for 14 days. Chewing tums until it kicks in. Damn. My chest is on fire. Nothing helps... I even caved in and tried some ice cream, which burned even more.

I don't think I'm really too tight, I can eat fine. I have good restriction, but I can eat and drink fine. Wahhhh!!

*end bitching*

Lol. no. But I talked to A doc... my fave Resident Dr.Mick! Lol.Lol.Lol. Of course i left out the pesky detail of lap band.. haha.

I know I know.. .

ZZ

Like BG said, talk to your doc.

Also what the hell are you eating? Tone it down like no caffiene, tomatoes, onions, peppers, vinegar and other acidic things.

Enough with the praise the rest of y'all.

Oh, and tomorrow night, I'm taking BG out to a Queer Country Line Dance Competition Fund Raiser at a bar. Should be fun. I'll try to take pictures. heeheehee,
