anyone still on here that's more than a month out of surgery?

I look daily for info or advise. I am 6 weeks our from surgery looking for the normal for this time period, but everyone posting is either waiting for surgery or less than a month out. I know what to expect then already been there, its moving forward from 6 weeks to 6 months that I am searching for.

I was 298 before surgery, I am down 103 lbs total but I have gained 7lbs back... I fluctuate between 7-10 lbs . I joined this sight to get some support the ought others because although I really haven't gained weight I find myself feeling heavier and very fearful of gaining my weight back????

I'm on the gastric bypass Facebook page daily - here not so much, maybe once a week to change my weight ticker lol

  • 1 month later...

I am 5.5 years post sleeve surgery. i am still at goal but it's not easy. I go up and down. I have to watch what I eat cause it's easy to gain with any of the surgeries if you eat a bunch of sweets, which is what I end up doing sometimes.

I'll be at three years in April. I was at goal for a long time but the past six months it's slowly creeping back up...I'm working on it now. I started back with Protein shakes and mostly protein all through out the day. My carb intake got crazy!

I have about 15-17lbs I would like to permanently get rid of.

7 months out and still checking into to BP twice a week or so - I keep my stats here and search for posts om issues that I have questions on or are just curious about. Keep on the lookout - you will find folks going through what you are experiencing - but sometimes you are the first, in that case post and share so someone can learn with you ;-D

13 months out n here daily!

Surgery was Sept 8th, 2014. Can't believe it has almost 5 months ago! I usually get on here at least every other day, if not every day.
