5 weeks I'm off for a Tummy Tuck and breast augmentation. Can't wait and will post lots of pics throughout the process! Scared, excited and ready to get my body back :) I'm 165 lbs and just wonder what I'll end up after all this skin is gone.post-180464-0-66486600-1414710486_thumb.jpg post-180464-0-99061200-1414711363_thumb.jpg

I lost 165 lbs and just had a TT 2 weeks ago. It's amazing and wonderful to see you stomach so flat!! You will love it! Day 2 was the worst, but take the pain meds and you will be fine. I look better that I had hoped at only 2 weeks PO! Surgeon took 5 lbs of skin and I have lost 11 lbs total since day of surgery.

Wow! Your progress is so inspiring. I have been debating about whether I would want to aspend any of my retirement money on plastics, but it sure would be nice to get my "perky" back. keep us informed and include pictures. When people post before and after pictures, I am just amazed at the difference.

VSG was the best thig I ever did for myself!!!! PS is the 2nd :) LOL I will post pics and give an honest opinion of my journey into plastics. My arm lift has done amazing and am thrilled with the results so far. Thanks all!

@@sherry24184 I agree! VSG was the best thing, and plastics was second. I had my arms done and a LBL in August, and look way better than I ever dreamed. I just didn't realize what it could do for a person! I still need my legs done and breast lift so everything matches ;) You already look wonderful, so I'm sure the last surgery will really be the finishing touches!

Our stats are also similar - I'm barely 5'4", and my all time high weight was 325. I had about 5 pounds removed from my arms and lower body, but I haven't lost any weight. It was 2 months ago, and I'm still a little swollen. I have a tendency to retain Water, so I'm not surprised. My surgeon said it could take up to a year to go down, and I'm sure it will.

I had my surgery done near home, and I can't imagine having to travel with what I had done. However, I am considering going to Mexico for my next procedure because it's just so expensive to have it done here. I see so many people with great results...but I'm just afraid of being miserable and having to travel, and Mexico is a really long way from Michigan!

Anyway, congrats on so many wonderful successes!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
