Do you know of any doctors in Mexico who sews over the staples on the stomach to help prevent leakage? I'm trying to narrow it down and start the payment process but I'm scared to hurry and choose without finding this out first. Thank you

Do these doctors suture along the entire staple line, or mainly just in the junctures?

OCC does a "double buttress" oversewing technique along the entire staple line.

Dr. Guillermo Alvarez does. He's wonderful and the care is awesome!

Dr. Jaime Ramos Kelly sews over the entire staple line! Love him. I'm in Hospital Angeles now, I had my surgery 1-13. He is even sending me home with a video of the procedure and all my paperwork, x Rays, and swallow test for my physician at home.

I specifically asked Katy, with A Lighter Me, and yes Dr Elias Ortiz does do both staples with suture oversew.

Hi. I'm considering dr. Valenzuela. How was your experience. How are you doing?

My surgery is next week with Dr Zavalza. From what I was told he sutures over the staple line.

Dr. Guillermo Alvarez does. He's done over 6500 sleeves too. He is amazing!

JamieLogical, did you go with Dr Jamie Ponce De, Leon? I was supposed to get mines done this past may 2015 but I got a really bad feeling about it and decided to back out. So I am still wanting to get the gastric sleeve surgery this year but it is hard to pick the right surgeon when there are so many of them....confusedddddd!
