  2. Dr Jamie ponce de leon at int hospital looks like a viable lower cost option to hospital angeles and corvala.
  3. Biotene spray for dry mouth after surgery....liquid tylenol
  4. They do not cover much if you review the fine print
  5. Is there anyone else scheduled with Corvala at hospital angeles the week of june 29 in Tijuana?
  6. I can pay Corvala and hospital angeles via credit card to their U.s. Affiliate before I enter mexico.

  8. I really cannot offer an educated opinion on him. He appears to be a bit lighter on experience than some and doesn't appear to have the prestigous international credentials but that by no means indicates that he is a bad surgeon.
  9. Kelly, rodriguez, a. Ortiz, and Corvala are typically in the group of top Tijuana surgeons. As david from bariatric pal will remind us there are several other good surgeons in mexico but you need to be very careful in your research. Also the facility where you have the surgery done also matters.

  11. I was told single incision is more risky. Greater chance the surgeon could inadvertently touch an organ. Also the one incision is as long as the five individual incisions. I have no idea if any of that is true. That is just the rationale my case coordinator told me why my surgeon prefers not to do single incision.
  12. My dr is Covala at hospital angeles. There is a lot on the internet about him. I really won't for sure how good he is until I have the surgery in june. I do like the five nights is the hospital that the hospital angeles package offers given some on this board are still in rough shape three or four days out.

  15. Sleeve versus bypass and going to mexico versus the U.S
  16. I just found out I have type two diabeties today. I am scheduled to be sleeved on june 30. Now that I have diabeties should I be considering bypass instead of sleeve? I was going to go with sleeve as there appear to be less complications but I heard bypass typically cures type 2 diabeties.
  17. My psyc evaluation isn't until the day of my surgery at hospital angeles in Tijuana with Corvala. My surgery is june 29 as that is the best time of year for me to get time off work.
  18. Thanks...I loaded viber on both my and my wife's smart phones and I will plan to use the wifi at the hospital angeles in Tijuana as that is were I will be staying the entire five nights I am in mexico. Hopefully the hospital angeles wifi will be fast enough to handle viber. I would also like to stream Netflix while at the hospital if the wifi is fast enough.
