Hey y'all! I was wondering if any of you have felt like you've lost too much weight. I am pre op and getting concerned about of all things getting to little. Trust me I'm freaking out over the whole thing but I'm excited to be done with the nervous before surgery phase. I see no one has posted here in minute lol.

My fear was that I'd instantly regret it, especially once I was in a bit of pain but the pain meds knock you out so you won't really have a chance to process it and when you do, it's fine. The fear is the real enemy!! By now you've had it anyway so let us know how you're feeling when you feel up to it! Talk soon, Gen Hey Gen! I made it through. Just sitting her waiting for the time to head back to the airport and having some "lunch". Lol. I'm tolerating everything pretty ok at this point. I even had the apple juice. Mom really ready to head back though. I miss my hubby and my kids. ???? I'm still a little sore and trying to learn this new tummy. I was super glad to get that drain out. Everyone at the recovery center has been great and really on top of things. Not looking forward to that 3 hr layover between my flights. Anyway I feel really blessed to have been able to get this done and that I am doing well.

Yes that was me! I thought I saw you too going downstairs with your pillows ????. Bless your hearts. We talked to Kiki 52 and another lady and they seemed to be doing well also. Yea a slight language barrier. I'm making it. I'm just ready to go back and get it over with lol. I might run into you all at the recovery house tomo. There are three of us having surgery today.

@Kiki52 Alright! The countdown has begun. It'll be here before you know it....I'm excited too. I will be traveling alone but I hope I get to run into you as it would be great to see a familiar face on this journey lol. Preop is going well for me I think ha! I haven't lost but maybe a pound but I can tell I've lost a couple inches.

Hey Chrissy! I was thinking about you yesterday. I was going to message you to see how you are. Glad to hear all is good with you and that the lbs are still falling off! I'm gonna check back in on your blog after I get off work and get to some wifi. Lol I leave Tuesday????. This is crazy. Lol

Huskybrotha hello and welcome! I get where your coming from. I'm nervous myself...BUT...I'm scheduled for surgery next Tuesday. Read the good and some of the bad too. I enjoy watching YT vids of people who've had the sleeve. Seeing their faces and how they are day out of surgery until a year or so out before they go on about their lives is cool and calming for me. Good luck with your decision! Keep us posted.

Yes we can! I took two 200mg ibuprofen and I'm golden now. I just came off a corporate fast with my church that lasted 21 days. I think that really helped me out. Unfortunately right after I "enjoyed" all the foods I wouldn't have again for awhile or forever if I decide not to have them. I'm nervous and excited. Day 2 of Pre op diet. Slight headache probably unrelated. 7 days! Lord! #LTVSG

I've been reading some post from sleevers from last July and from last month. It has helped me to be more at ease. Reading about the day to day progression of the posters is comforting. They seem to move through the phases at a pretty nice clip. Reading about the common just out of surgery aka 1st couple of days things has helped me too.

Prayers said and positive vibes headed your way also! ???? You will be just fine! I'm nervous on and off at this point. I've got 9 days to go????. I've had two children and had my tubes tied that's as far as I've gone surgery wise myself. The anesthesia part is concerning to me as far as the gas pains after. I've had them before and I went to the hospital the first time. I literally thought I was having a heart attack lol. I think I will use those couple of experiences to mentally get through the gas pains if I have them. You'll be fine I know it. Please post after you start feeling better so we can check up on you and so you can help me be less nervous lol.

Hey Kiki 52 ! I'll be arriving at LTVSG on the 14th. We may run into one another. This is all so weird and exciting. As far as vitamins are concerned I'm pre op but I watch a lot of vids heck all the vids from Dr Mark Wiener or Weiner (sp?) on YT he is a baratric surgeon and he has loads of info on his channel. He suggested a bariatric vit at least for the first few months and after that I think I'm going to try liquid vitamins or prenatals (which I have taken many times preggers or not which I'm not of course lol) I'm about to try to order some of the bariatric vits and I pray they aren't too expensive:( lol Are you excited for your date?

Just had this convo with my mom and she was not happy about me going to MX. I explained to her that I've done the research and I understand my possible outcomes and that it will be in God's hands. She asked a hundred questions and then I changed the subject. Lol. I just asked her to be positive with me about it and about my post surgery life. I explained the facts about my current health and the future prospects with our families health history as that this surgery is less of a risk than staying fat. She agreed with that idea. She's still very concerned especially about me being left high and dry at the airport, the dr being a sham, being kidnapped...that about sums it up. ???? I definitely get it. All most people in the US have to go on is what the media talks about and movies. I get her legit concerns (post op complications and care) and I share them tbh but I'm just believing for a great complication free surgery and post op. She wants me to call her every step of the way and I'm fine with that.
