My fear was that I'd instantly regret it, especially once I was in a bit of pain but the pain meds knock you out so you won't really have a chance to process it and when you do, it's fine. Just sitting her waiting for the time to head back to the airport and having some "lunch". Lol. I'm tolerating everything pretty ok at this point. I even had the apple juice. Mom really ready to head back though. I miss my hubby and my kids. ???? I'm still a little sore and trying to learn this new tummy. I was super glad to get that drain out. Everyone at the recovery center has been great and really on top of things. Not looking forward to that 3 hr layover between my flights. Anyway I feel really blessed to have been able to get this done and that I am doing well.

Yes that was me! I thought I saw you too going downstairs with your pillows ????. Bless your hearts. We talked to Kiki 52 and another lady and they seemed to be doing well also. Yea a slight language barrier. I'm making it. I'm just ready to go back and get it over with lol. I might run into you all at the recovery house tomo. There are three of us having surgery today.

@Kiki52 Alright! The countdown has begun. It'll be here before you know it....I'm excited too. I will be traveling alone but I hope I get to run into you as it would be great to see a familiar face on this journey lol. Preop is going well for me I think ha! I haven't lost but maybe a pound but I can tell I've lost a couple inches.

Huskybrotha hello and welcome! I get where your coming from. I'm nervous myself...BUT...I'm scheduled for surgery next Tuesday. Read the good and some of the bad too. I enjoy watching YT vids of people who've had the sleeve. Seeing their faces and how they are day out of surgery until a year or so out before they go on about their lives is cool and calming for me. Good luck with your decision! Keep us posted.

Yes we can! I took two 200mg ibuprofen and I'm golden now. I just came off a corporate fast with my church that lasted 21 days. I think that really helped me out. Unfortunately right after I "enjoyed" all the foods I wouldn't have again for awhile or forever if I decide not to have them. I'm nervous and excited.
