I'm hoping for a December date. I'm actually on track for November but want till wait until after finals (December 10th) My file goes to the insurance on October 28th. I'm hoping that will be enough time for it to come back and then book a date. Does everyone already have their dates already?

There are well known facts on the internet these days that may help you make your scheduling decision:

1.) December Sleevers experience .015% less post op hair loss than those sleeved in November. (Weird but true apparently.)

2.) Sleeves performed in November could result in uncontrollable flatulence in 99.98%, or less, of the recipients. (I've read that it has something to do with the tides and moon phases affect on the formation of the pouch during that month.)

3.) December Sleevers have been scientifically proven to be able to "Trust a Fart" 2.43% more than a November Sleever. (They are more patient and less likely to take a chance according to the research performed.)

4.) December Sleevers "Rule"....... while November Sleevers, may in fact, "Drool". (Although this is still a theory, some feel it is soon to be definitively proven to be true.)

5.) December Sleevers may be a tad envious of their November brothers and sisters and are 100% likely to fabricate statistics based on said envy.

(My surgery date is Dec 10th)

I don't have a date yet, but it's looking like my surgery will be in the beginning of December. My last appt with the nut is on the 22nd and as soon as her note hits the system they'll be submitting to insurance. My program coordinator said she'll have everything ready so all she'll have to do is print off the nut note and get all the info faxed to insurance. She said it usually takes 2-3 weeks for a determination and then surgery is 2-3 weeks later.

I just joined yesteday as well. My date is Dec 1st and it seems so far away. I know it will be he before I know it. By then I will have been on liquids for 4 months. I really miss food but I'm trying to pin as many new recipes as possible so that when the time comes I can make some healthy meals.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
