Lol, thanks. I think its the lack of food getting to me. I hope Chellede laughed out loud too.

What about your personality? I just sit here. No TV, not really wanting to be on the computer. I don't talk much right now.

It's odd

I don't think your personality will change unless you lose 50 or 60 pounds and get extra fine :-) I felt a bit off for the first few days but it will pass in a few days.

Do any of you notice that sensation when you swallow? I talked to a guy that was sleeved the same day and he said he had it. I take sips that are so small I hardly have any Fluid. It goes down and then the gas bubble(?) comes painfully back up. It was getting a little better w/just Clear liquids but when I put some Protein in Water, it does it every single time. and then a few times when I'm not even swallowing.....

:( this will be my last post in this group, as i just got off the phone with my surgeon's office and i'm now tentatively scheduled for 11/4... october is booked and i'm still pending with my insurance company.

good luck to all!

you don't have to leave just because technically you'll be the last of Octobers LOL. I didn't even get a gastric sleeve I ended up getting a gastric bypass but I still keep an eye on everybody

I did notice that when I took a drink that was a little too big I wouldn't get the burpees. It seemed to last for the first 5 days. Only get that occasionally now.I do seem to have the sensation of bubbles in my stomach most of the time but it does not seem painful to me

I know what your are feeling. It's like my body need to be readjusted and it just want to be still. Head hunger is killing me softly I really could use some oatmeal right now or at least my mind says I could. How are you liking the clear liquids? Jello has become my best friend.

Went for my post op today....and.....I've lost 12% of my excess body weight! I'm so excited! I've also moved on to the mushy soft food stage. I'm going back to work on Monday.

Continue to stay positive and determined!

Hey guys I go in tomorrow @ 5 am I believe surgery is at 7:00. Please pray for me & send positve thoughts my way. Not scared but anxious. Ok maybe a tiny bit scared

@@Kathy812 you know we're sending you good wishes, good prayers, good vibes, sunshine, hugs and a whole lot of support your way.

Kathy !! You got this. I"m excited or you !! Now i know what it's like on the other side :)

Amy !! ::: applause ::: WTG !!!!!!! So stinking proud of you !!

Loverly - All I want is water.. I couldn't even stomach the sweetness of Jello. Even lemon jello. Any fruity for me is out. Except this Protein Drink. It's so disgusting, but it has 42 grams of Protein. So I do it here and there. But yeah, Water has become my best friend !

So my plan is to do 30cc of clear liquid every 15 minutes. so I set my alarm, start drinking my water or that nasty protein drink, and just keep doing it. I have to do this with full liquids for three weeks. But I got it.

Hubby and I are about to go take a walk to the end of the street and back. Gotta keep moving !

AMY - excited for you ! You will do fine !!!

Kathy

My prayers go with you. All will be well. Go into surgery positive and come out positive ????. We will be waiting for you.

Chellede, anytime :-)
