There about 5 of us who have been getting together I was sleeved in Oct looking forward to meeting up with new people I live in Ham Lake the weekend of July 26 and August 15 and 16 I am busy but any other time is great

Count me in most Saturday or Sunday I am available

We meet once a month and would love to have you join us. We are deciding on a date right now but we are planning to meet at Bakers Square in Roseville will let you know which Saturday

I am doing good started loosing hair at 5 months still thinning. Have been hungry since day one and so I have to watch that. Can eat anything nothing bothers me. Just had my 6 month check up down 62 lbs doctor was pleased with my progress. My only regret it that I didn't do it sooner

Nov 15 at Perkins on university Ave in fridley at 10 am looking forward to seeing everyone I am doing great since surgery except I am always hungry no problems getting in my protein or water

Had my 1 week check up since surgery 10 pounds lost in 1 week very happy all is good

Marybeth we leave for the winter the 1st week in December I talked to Lori tonight and we are getting together at the Perkins in fridley I think on the 15 she is going to post it. How have you been feeling right after surgery were you hungry I am 4 days out and starving I was hoping I wouldn't be hungry

Well finally home from having surgery had to stay a little longer because of a blood clot in my stomach but surgery went better than I thought did not get sick not much pain and just a little gas pains glad to be home

Thanks Fawn for coming up to the hospital and for all the goodies I will put them to good use. Well I am finally home. Doctor said it was a blood clot in my stomach but feeling much better today. Wasn't as bad as I thought not really sore and did not get sick. Today I finally get broth and jello after just being on water for 3 days.

OK have to be at the hospital at 730 tomorrow surgery at 930 can't wait for it to get here ready to move on to the next phase in this journey. How many had a lot of gas pain. How long after surgery were you back in your room.

Fawn my surgery is this Thursday the 23 at unity my surgeon is Dr baker and if you want to visit Friday that's fine. What time

Thank you so much for all your support it means a lot to me. I did not have to do a pre op diet just clear liquids 24 hrs before surgery so that was good You will probably be hearing alot from me as I don't have support at home everyone on here is so great. Busy day hospital call to preregester it's making it so real now

Hi i am also 67 having surgery on Thursday it's so nice to know that things went so well for you I am starting to get scared and anxious any tips for me

Molly and Fawn. It was great meeting with both of you. Next week we will have a date for our next meeting. Had a lot of fun visiting with you . Next time I see you I will have had my surgery.
