I see him again on the October 9th then he will give me the exact date in October. The staff there is so nice I love Darla. I see her next week to go over everything for the surgery.

Hi tsjackie I am also having my surgery by Dr. Baker at unity hospital in October I really like him.

That is so me too my whole life is consumed by it I spend all my on the forums or doing research can't wait for it to get here

Jannylou let me know what you decide when you get done with your doctor appointment. You have to do what you think is best for you. I still have doubtsome every now and then but for me I know it's the right thing to do I want to get off my meds

I am feeling the same way I think reality is being felt. It's all the unknown but I guess we have to look at all the positive things and have faith in our self but that is easier said than done.

I am 67 and hoping to have surgery in october I Have been losing weight also and have the same medical issues you do right now I am at 199 I have decided to go through with the sleeve because I feel without surgery the health issues will not get better and at this age not .many doctors will do the surgery as we get older so its now or never

Just got back from the doctor everything is a go except the final report from the psychologist and I see him Thursday so it is all in his hands now very nervous if he OKs it I could have it done in October wish me luck

I am having my final appointment with the physiologist on Thursday and I hope it all goes well if it does should get my surgery date hoping for October any one having or had surgery at unity hospital in Fridley

I should find out this week when I am having surgery if all goes well it should be in October have 4 different appointments this week final one with phycoligist. Nurse. Nutritionists. Excercise person. Doctor so I hope all goes well

I have a hard time keeping up with the food logs too I am sure it's just a habit we will have to get used to because I know it's important to do it to be successful I have appointments this week then should get my surgery date hoping for October
