Same here with the fatigue. The last few times I walked around 1-2 miles, (like today) I've come home completely exhausted. I could barely stay standing up, and was asleep no sooner than hitting the couch. I've basically felt like I've had zero stamina since surgery on 7/21. My doctor said this is completely normal, especially since I am not yet able to get all my Protein in.

I had RNY 7/31 and I feel fabulous. I too was in the car today before I remembered I was not to be driving. It is hard not to do things when you are pain free. See my Dr. tomorrow and I am so excited.

I'm so happy for you feeling great! Today I started back on Protein Shake Thank God I was so tired of all liquids. I see we had our surgery one day apart. How was your doctor visit?

Each day will get better as it past just make sure you remember to drink Water, and walk around as much as you can if its nothing but walking around your home between tv breaks. Good luck and congrats to you all for making the choice to be healthy.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
