August 2014 sleevers!

Recommended Posts

I'm scheduled for aug 4. Just started a 6 week per op! So far it's been hard but mainly because I'm on holidays right now for a wedding! I'm home next week so hopefully I can kick it into high gear!

After 7 years of back and forth...Aug 7th is my date! So excited but freaking out a little. Had to do a pre-op education class, EGD, two psyc visits and a 6 month supervised diet. Lots of hoops but here we are! Then the hubs goes in Aug 28th!

How is everyone doing with they pre op stuff!? How do you guys feel? Excited nervous anxious.....and doubt?? I am august 11th and I am feeling a bit nervous LOL but really excited

I am "tentatively" scheduled for Aug 5th. I have so many emotions over this surgery I'm at the point i just want to get it done and over so I can be healthy. Mainly I'm nervous my insurance company won't approve me in time and I'll have to push up the surgery date.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
