What went first / the fastest?

Recommended Posts

So after recovering and getting into the swing of fat loss - what did you note "went" first. When I was younger and I'd diet the first thing to go was my boobs  (unfortunately). I know it's individual for everyone. What was the first thing to lose weight the fastest on you?

People seemed to notice my face thinning out way before anything else looked smaller.

My face was 1st, 2nd was my waistline. I carried alot of my weight around the middle, so as soon as id lose a few pounds, my pants were loose , again ! ( OH DARN !) As far as the chest area, the only good thing I can say about gaining weight was that I finally filled out in that area, and so far I have kept it all as I have lost weight. For the 1st time, in the history of never, I have a very nice figure ! Thank you lap band !!!

My Winnie-the-Pooh belly seemed to go first, but also slimmer legs, etc. I have a round face and that is slow to show change. Now at 50+ down my rings are loose, wrists smaller, etc.

My feet. They got trim and beautiful; though not particularly obvious to others :(

Then my upper body- breasts and face and waist.

Unfortunately for me, my body is now somewhat lopsided. I have a small upper and a quite large lower - except for my feet, which have maintained their new beautiful trim selves.

I remember the day a good friend hugged me and declared, "I can feel bone!"

One of the best days of my journey :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
