April 2 is my day !!! Won't know what I need to do until wed !!! Nervous and excited can't wait!!!

All of you are going to do GREAT! Everyone gets nervous and that's ok. The time will fly by and then you'll be on the Loser's Bench!

My surgery is on April 4th and I am on day 3 of my pre-op diet. I am not feeling nervous yet, but I go in for my pre-op testing at the hospital this Friday and I think that is when all the pre-surgery nerves will set in. Congratulations on your new journey!

April 9th is my day too! I am a band to sleeve conversion and I am very much looking forward to it. Call me crazy, but I am excited to start my pre-op "Liver Shrinking Diet". I'll start on 4/2. My diet is a liquids only, but is not difficult for me when I'm in this mindset. I follow the rules when it comes to surgery because I want everything to go as smoothly as possible (as much as I can help it). Plus, the pre-surgery weight loss is pretty great too. ;)

Good luck everyone!

April 9th is my big day and i hsve to start full liquid diet on April 2nd :) ready set goooo

I'm another April 9th sleeve buddy! I have a 10 day pre-op diet that is 3-4 shakes a day plus a small meal of Protein and veggies. Everything has to stay under 870 cals for the day.

I've been taste testing caffeine free teas because warm liquids seem to keep me fuller longer. I also have a spreadsheet worked out to keep track of my calories and plan out my meals. I'm very much looking forward to my pre-planned dill pickle each day at 4:30 LOL!

My surgery is April 7th and I have the same emotions. Mostly I'm excited but when the actual day is here I think I'm gonna be a mess! Lol! I am on my 5th day of my 2 week liquid diet. Is not been as terrible as I thought it would be besides the diarhea. As far as hunger goes, you stay full if you drink lots of water and broth. In the end it will all pay off. Good luck on your new adventure!
