  1. Today is post op day 12 I get to try purreed foods on Thursday. I eat Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons - and jello. And no sugar added Popsicles. I'm down 21.4 pounds since surgery.
  2. Greek yogurt is my friend. . I have 2 weeks full liquid. Then purred and mashed for 2 weeks. . Eggs next week can't wait
  3. Awesome today's day 9. Post op. How is everyone doin? What are you eating / drinking each day?
  4. I was so glad to see this ! Today is my 9th day post op. And I'm still tender and not sleeping normal positions which is terrible on my neck and shoulder.
  5. When the come out with replacement I'll get one. I wanted the force because it told time. Lol then it's like a watch. QUOTE="leo0704"] I'm have a fitbit and I love it! I started off with the FitBit Force but had to send it back because of the recall. I'm using the FitBit One until they come out with a newer one. I loved the force though and can't wait to see what they replace it with! Would love to have some friends with fitbits
  6. Day 5 post-op. Feeling human today!
  7. All over with! My surgery was 145 today. I feel great so far. Anxiously awaiting the swallow test. My throat is sore now. From the tube i would sad. But all in all doing well.
  8. 2 more sleeps. 11 more bottles of ensure lol
  9. My surgery is this Wednesday. I woke up today with a head cold. Sore throat and dry cough. Hope this doesn't affect anything!

  11. Well 2 weeks of pre op liquids down. I find my self obsessing over eggs. Lol. Not sure why I never ate them very often! And I fing I smell food way more intensely now! 7 more days to go
  12. Brooke what fitbit is the best one to get? I've been wanting one.
  13. 10 more days! I'm halfway thru my pre-op liquid diet. Everyone asks have you cheated? And Seem shocked when I say no. Unless you count sugar free jello! Hope everyone is doing well and getting excited for what we have to look forward to!
  14. It's all good. I'm kinda enjoying not having to decide what to cook. Lol.
  15. Your the lucky one. I'm on 3 weeks liquid only! Ensure, 1% milk (1 cup/day) and broth!

  20. I thought I would be a zombie. The protein in the shakes really fill me up. I don't get any food at all except broth. Lol not even jello. It's going good. First few days are the worst.
  21. Well I already have steamers and sugarfree syrups. Vanilla bean is the best. And what not. I find myself worrying about what I will pack for lunch after surgery lol. I work in accounting. I have bank recs and things to be done before I'm off. So I need to focus. Between that and covering off for other employees that are away. I'm swamped!! I've been prepping for this for 18 months.
  22. I find it hard to focus at work and I still have 2 weeks to go!
  23. I'm in canada. My surgeon has me doing a 3 week full liquid diet. High protein ensure, broth, water, 1 cup 1% milk
