Wow you do look fantastic!! And your butt oh my gosh!! I am going for my surgery in June and can only hope to have a butt that looks as good as yours. Did you have to sleep on your side for the first two weeks?

Thank you and good luck with your surgery. I haven't actually sleep in my bed yet. I sleep in my electric recliner. I would advise an electric recliner for anyone that is thinking of having a LBL.

I had the best experience with Dr Victor Gutierrez, Elsa and the whole team, I love my new body and I love my Artist!!! Pictures are from before and the same day of surgery. More pictures to come this week.
Dr. Victor E. Gutierrez is not only a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, but also an Artist!!!
You can completely put your trust in him to make the best decisions for your reconstructive surgery. I could not imagine myself going to any other PS after the excellent care I received from Dr. Gutierrez, Elsa and the whole team. You will not be a patient to them, you will become their family, that's how much they care.
Dr. Victor Gutierrez is a Board Certified Plastic surgeon in Tijuana, Mexico.
The entire process before and after surgery was an absolutely unforgettable awesome experience. I have never been cared for by another doctor so compassionately and lovingly the way that Dr. Victor Gutierrez and Elsa did.
After my lower body lift, thigh lift, breast augmentation, butt lift surgery and TT and Nable revision my transformation is amazing. I am in love with my new body!!! His perfect and brilliant work has changed my life forever.
Dr. Victor Gutierrez is absolutely without question the best, most highly educated doctor and amazing Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. I recommended Dr. victor Gutierrez 100%.

Iambeautiful, yes I lose all my weight first. I am sorry I didn't update my profile. I used to weight 230 pounds and I had the sleeve in June 6, 2012. My CW is 120 pounds. Thank you.

I'm the same height as you and want to weigh approximately the same. What women's clothes size does that translate to? Thanks.

I wear a size 2P or 0P all depends on the material.

This looks like an advertisement for this Dr. in Mexico.

Believe me it is no advertisement. Just very well written.

I had also plastic surgery with Dr Victor Gutierrez as well. My review about him and my surgery is the same. I had never experienced such care, love and concern until I had plastic surgery with this doctor with stunning results. All of the reviews are the same even on RealSelf. Believe me, it is no advertisement, it is just that all of his patients, including me have never experienced this kind of care from a doctor before and write about him and their experience. I know I had not. I guess you have to experience it to believe it. You are welcome to look at my gallery of before and after pictures here on this site and also read my story.

Thank you Renee! I just ignore her comments because I am not her to fight with anyone. They can believe what they want to believe. I know and all Dr G patients that are part of this group knows that I am real and my story is real too.

I didn't say I didn't believe you . you are very defensive. I said it looks like an ad for your Dr. if that offends you than you must have something to be guilty about. I don't care if anyone goes to Mexico or anywhere else to have surgery that's your money, and your body. just said it looks like an ad.. If I came on here and praised my surgeon to the heaven's you might think I was trying to get people to go to him, I think that is what you are doing.. but I have a right to my opinion. so ignore me all you want.. I don't give a crap.

I am glad you posted your experience here! Not sure why someone has to go and ruin a positive thread with 2 cent negative vibes. Reading these 'ads' is one of my motivations because I want to be there one day and i want to know who had good experiences with doctors, especially if a doctor has multiple good reviews. Also want to know if there are bad ones too so as to avoid those in the future. Awesome job! Hope I get there one day. :)

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play, and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.
