I'm having mine on Wednesday and I'm very anxious mainly because of the recovery. I have heard the first few days are hard but I haven't heard anyone say they regret it!!! Good Luck

I had the sleeve in 2012 and lost 85 lbs. and tomorrow......OMG tomorrow.. I am going for a TT/lower body lift!!! and breast lift. So nervous but so excited. I had my sleeve at INT hospital with Dr Ponce. Fantastic Doctor. I am having TT with Dr. Parra at INT.

Wow you look terrific! I am 2 years post op (sleeve) and I'm looking into PS now. I had my mind set up to have a breast lift and neck lift but friends have told me to go for the circular or round tummy tuck first. They say I will be even more amazed how great I look. What did you do first? I can have a tummy tuck and breast lift or a neck lift/breast lift. Wish I could have neck lift tummy tuck, then I would be thrilled..lol I am using Dr. Parra for my PS iin MX. Who did you go with. Also....are you back to normal activity? Can't wait to see the new me. If I look half as good as you I will be thrilled!

I'm going on my 3rd week and have now stalled.....lol I've only lost 16lbs. I'm like you though I keep thinking don't worry it's going to come off. I just have read some great stories of people losing 30 plus pounds the first couple of weeks and wanted that to be me too!!! lol

I don't know where your getting your facts from but I don't mess around with bull I go straight to the source. Trish was with Dr. Kelly and Dr.Ponce way back when Dr. Ponce was training Dr. Kelly. That's right training Dr. Kelly. Lori has come on the scene as of late and wants to be Dr. Ponce one and only coordinator, if you want to talk cut throat then talk Lori. She has been given a ultimatum by Dr. Ponce. Trish did not burn her bridges Dr. Kelly did. When 2 different companies drop a Dr. there is something wrong with that Dr. And Dr. Kelly was dropped by coordinators with ethics. Trish (WLS) and Linda (a lighter me). Omar who was Trish's assistant now works for Dr. Kelly along with numerous other coordinators. Dr. Kelly is not allowed to work out of certain hospitals because he developed some questionable work ethics. Call the hospitals, do your research! I urge everyone to contact Trish as she is open and honest and does not run down Dr. Kelly. Dr. Kelly has done his own damage to himself. Trish is for the patient. So is Dr. Ponce. They are not into this business to gouge you for your pennys. They actually care and go out of their way for you. Trish will be listed as his coordinator and pictured with him on their new website coming up soon. Good Luck and for God's sake do your research and ask the doctors questions, your life is on the line. PS You do not have to send Lori any money up front. Pay Dr. Ponce at the hospital.

What hospital does he work out of?

I am very concerned with this "Lori" when I heard her price I called Dr. Ponce (because I just paid 5500. last week) I went through Trish. I was told she is not authorized to offer 4600.00 to patients. I was told she is new to Dr. Ponce and I was also told Dr. is going to be speaking with her real soon..so Be leary for now and do not send any money.

When I read this regarding Dr. Ponce's price I was ticked as I just paid 5500.00 so I called and have been told that this Lori person has not been authorized by Dr. Ponce to offer this price. We will know more tomorrow as he will be speaking to her.

I was told to wait a month before going into a pool. Did your pcp say it's fine to swim already. I would love to start. I am 1 week out

Bless your heart, hang in there. It is a lot for our body, mind and soul to go through. I was exhausted the first week, but this week I feel like running around. One thing that has helped me is remembering that yes we have a major change in our life going on but eventually we will be able to eat what we want, just in tiny portions. My brain keeps playing tricks on me, if I see a yummy commercial, my brain says oh arn't you hungry...but I keep telling myself no as a matter of fact im not..it's a new lifestyle but one well worth the fight. Try and find a group meeting to attend, or a walking partner this will help to. Good Luck
