Hello I'm scheduled for May 7th with Dr Lopez in Tijuana. The pre op diet has been a night mare leaving me feeling like a total failure having to quite smoking and a liquid diet has made me a complete grump.

I'm May 7 as well, and I've already gave fair warning on my grumpiness! No sugars no carbs, just a woman b on a mission, I told my daughter to steer clear!

I'm scheduled for surgery may 20th! Scared, and excited. I have a small scattered family so support is what I'm worried about. I know I'm going to need it. Best of health to all the May sleeves!

I'm having mine done on the 20th also! (So keep in touch.) Are there any local support groups that your doctor can recommend? We will all support you on here! :) Best of luck!

May 15th, Puget Sound surgery clinic isn't as strict as others. You are limited to 2 Protein drinks a day but must not eat more than 40 carbs a day. I just started today and no big deal.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
