Any May 2014 sleevers?

Recommended Posts

I wondered if I tried it too quickly. I am getting frustrated because I've only lost 7 pounds in the last 40 days...makes no sense other than I don't eat enough. Thanks for the post! I'll hold off on trying lettuce for another month or two!!

I was May 7th I still cannot eat leafy stuff.

I have had zero issue with lettuce - I made a tiny steak taco and had romaine on it Saturday. Sometimes the stomach and the brain have differing opinions on what they want.

Sleeve 5/28 and I don't have too much trouble with lettuce. Tortillas, bread, and scrambled eggs all give me trouble sometimes. I can still eat a little bit, but I get that "stuck" feeling after a bite or two.

Yesterday, at work, one of my coworkers came up to me and said "You're getting so skinny!" And not in a snarky way or anything. First time anyone who doesn't know I had surgery has said anything.

Haha. I thought it was pretty lenient too, but hey doctors orders! ;) It'll be interesting to see how it really goes come May. Are you doing anything BEFORE the 2 week pre-op to prepare?

Who did your surgery Jenny?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
