Is anything wrong with using Whey Protein?

Recommended Posts

I brought a whey Protein and someone told me that was for gaining weight.

It can be used to supplement an otherwise-normal diet, or by a person who intends to gain weight, but that's not its only use. If you use it to make Protein shakes and you adhere to the rules set by your nutritionist and your surgeon, it will help you lose weight.

Ditto. Whey Protein is a great way to get your protein in.

Whey Protein is a great way to get your protein in. I am allergic to soy and that also leads to problems with estrogen over load or shut down. So for me whey protein is an amazing choice to use for weight loss.

I took whey Protein before surgery (lost 15 lbs while drinking it twice a day) and I drink it every morning now. I'm 20lbs down since surgery three weeks ago. It works great for my Protein intake.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
