Looking at your picture makes it so much easier to know that the band does work if you use it right. Thank you for showing your pictures.

You must feel super, too.

I met my goal weight of 145 in August 2013, almost 1 year after surgery. Today, I'm happy to report a healthy weight of 132 lbs. I'm living life at 13 lbs below goal. I truly love my Lapband, and I'm super thankful to be 113 lbs lighter in a size 2.

This is my before and after picture, the one on the left is pre surgery at 245 lbs and the one on the right is at goal of 145lbs.

Again all, thanks so much! I feel like a new person and the goal of my post was to inspire others that if journal your food, eat lean Protein first, drink Water and get 30 minutes of some type of body movement daily. Also, the number 1 reason for my Lapband success is that for the first 12 months I saw my Lapband Surgeon monthly and now at goal I see him quarterly and he makes certain he provides me with the tools to succeed! This has not been an easy journey but I love this new body and the second chance at living a healthy life!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
