Losing More By Eating More
So, I've attempted to do this for a couple of days but I just can't do it. I don't know how you're able to eat that much, but my sleeve just won't allow me to. I got up to 1200 calories once like three days ago, and I am still full. I'm averaging 750-900 calories on average. I guess I'll be stuck in the 190s for a while.

Swelling
It wasn't until my sixth week before my pain subsided. Just keep walking and taking it easy. No heavy stuff yet. Best wishes!

7 weeks post op and risking it
Yes, I was good after 4 weeks postop. I didn't eat raw vegetables, but cooked ones. Then at five weeks, I added lettuce and have been eating salads ever since. Good luck!

1.5 years out & still throwing up?
I’m just glad I finally got someone to listen to me. And that is the key!!!! Finding the right doctor to truly listen to you is vital to our health. I had to change back doctors last year for the very reason. I'm so glad your surgery went well and you're home recovering. Continued success and blessings.

Complete lap band failure
Knowing what I know now about the band and have experienced major issues with it, I would say revision is necessary. I just recently revised to the sleeve in November. It's weird because it still feels as though my band is still there without the stuck feeling. I am very restricted and you would think I am half way to goal, but no. I've only lost 14 pounds since my surgery. I'm happy because I'm not gaining lol. Anyway, by all means, consult with your surgeon and do what you feel is best. Good luck!

Does anybody know how long rny patients have to take Opmeprizole?
I totally agree. It's not even about the US vs Canada. Just the doctors here in the US are so diverse, especially right here in Houston. You would think we should be doing the same things at the same time, but no, we're not. Totally weird.

Does anybody know how long rny patients have to take Opmeprizole?
I'm a sleeve patient and I was provided with Omeprazole the day I was released from the hospital. I have only taken it maybe three times as I have noticed certain foods I have eaten gave me that funny almost heartburn feeling. I was not given any directions from my doctor as to how long I should be on this, and my bariatric doctor's name isn't on the prescription. I don't know who this is smh. Maybe it's his partner he told me about at my 4 week follow up (shrugs).

I recently had my lap band infilled and now I’m swelling and bloated
Maybe there's other health issues going on that you're not aware of. Maybe you need a complete checkup to find out what's going on. Best of luck!
