Swelling

I was wondering when does the tummy swelling and recover from the trauma of surgery really go away? I’m 5 weeks PO and still am very sensitive, and still feel as if I’m swollen.

  • I felt swollen and had pain for close to 5 weeks. I think it just depends on the person and the surgery. I had a more complicated surgery and came home from the hospital 15 pounds heavier than I came

It wasn't until my sixth week before my pain subsided. Just keep walking and taking it easy. No heavy stuff yet. Best wishes!
