I'm one month out tomorrow and the weight is not flying off. We all lose differently. Don't worry, it will come.

I lost 15 pounds my 1st 2 weeks after surgery, and will learn more Wednesday when I weigh in at the NUT's office. If watching your weight is driving you crazy, maybe you should take a break from the scale for a while. A lot of people take measurements because if you don't see the weight coming off, you may see the inches coming off. I am going on how my clothes fit. (A lot better right now!) Not having a scale in my house is helping save my sanity.

I was down about 22lbs in my first month post-op, but if it takes me a year to get rid of the other 80, I'm happy with that :)

Lost 18 pounds the first month. I was in a stall for over two weeks.. My scale finally moved 2 more pounds.. Hurray. Ps increased my food intake and it worked. That is 30 pounds pre and post op.

I lost 18lbs on pre-op diet, then lost 30lbs my first month, but it has definitely slowed down. I did get a personal trainer and I do hit the gym 4x a week. I've also been able to get in between 90 and 100 grams of Protein daily, as well as 96 oz of Water. I stalled for about 6 days (2x) but it broke with each time with a significant loss.

Keep at it people when was the last time, we loss weight without being hungry or killing ourselves in the process. I feel great even though I'm eating much less..who knew..I was always hungry, cranky or grumpy when I tried to lose weight before.

I lost 15# in the two weeks after my surgery. Then I stalled. Well now I have lost another 30# in the last month. Everyone is different. Follow the program and it will eventually fall off.

Update on me: I lost a total of 18 pounds my first month. My NUT said they want everyone to lose 10-15% of their weight in the first month. I lost 14.6%. Very happy with that! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
