As of today, I am officially 'Overweight'.

That's not 'Obese', or 'Morbidly Obese'...

But 'Overweight'. :D

Take THAT! Christmas and your calorie rich food which I have thus managed to avoid so far...

(Large-scale Guinness consumption being thoroughly overlooked)

(Before it all went horribly wrong and I fell over in my four inch heels due to an 'unforeseen' crack in the pavement - Classy 'till the last )

Looking beautiful madam, although when I imagined you it was always with eyes :D

A picture of me and the evil sisters in laws after our first bottle of tequila but before the end of the second and

them on the rolling around on the ground (and one puking :P)

Don't try this at home newbies! (Try it at your mother in laws house like we did)

I nearly broke my ankle instead.. In fact, we're not sure whether I need to go and get it x-rayed. Its black and blue and quite a bit swollen where it shouldn't really be. Odd shaped. I am looking at it as I type.. All wrapped up in a bandage with my hue of blue toes pointing out at the bottom. It's a bit of a mess!

Least I didn't feel much when I did it!

I have had broken ankles three times & also broken bones in my foot twice. A couple of those times I thought I just had a sprain, but it turned out there were breaks/fractures. I didn't help matters by delaying the trip to get X-rays. Don't be me, honey...go get it checked out.

LOL Brilliant! The sad thing about that? You're actually not far wrong from reality.. Could have just done with a few fine red veins where the alcohol had started getting into my system!

Congrats on being overweight. Just sounds so wrong even on a wls forum.

I hope you get your ankle checked out, and SS -- she and everyone else has broke their ass since they are cracked. Sorry couldn't help my warped sense of humor.

No, Ribearty, you beat me to it. One of my friends slipped on the ice the other day and has been complaining that she broke her butt. I told her I knew how she could tell…and she fell for it.

Turns out she split it right in half down the back, just as I had suspected.

Ankles suck. Well, when they don't work. I hope it's alright.

Well, I'm taking enough codeine for it..

I want to take declofenac or ibuprofen but I'm unsure whether with the sleeve, I can....

Apparently it 'sticks'...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
