Today I went out for a 45 min walk. Santa brought my 4 year old a scooter ;) and I took him out. The 45 min went by so quick it was awesome ! But when I got home i felt sore!! And felt some pain going on! Ouch! Im going to rest up now see how I feel ;)

Good for you! Feels so good to be moving, doesn't it? I still have to kind of talk myself into exercise and then I'm so happy I did it -- goal for 2014 is to want to do it up-front. Congratulations on grabbing hold of your health! The scooter sounds like a great plan for both of you.

Sore is a good thing! It means your muscles were pushed beyond their limits. Keep is up and very soon that will be an easy 45 for you!

No Pain, No Gain.....or so they say...that's why they call it a "Work" out....

What you feel now, in soreness from what effort you can put into it.....if you keep it up, within time, it will take 10 times the effort to achieve the same pain....

I used to get out of breath carrying groceries into the house.....NOW I run 5 miles (daily) to get out of breath....

We build upon our little victories, one at a time, time after time....

mrse13 - congrats on the 15lbs! That's great news. :) Was that just in a week or since you started the pre-op diets?

I did a lot of walking shortly after my surgery. I felt up to it. I kept pushing myself even though I've had little to eat and now I'm starting to get sick. Push yourself to exercise but not stress your body out too much.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
