I Lost Weight Since My Last Visit!

Recommended Posts

I was weighing 272 lbs at my first visit to my Surgeon, but I gained to 273 lbs. After today's appointment I am now 265 lbs. :) I hope I can continue the weight lost. I have 2 more months to go before the paper work will submitted. I could do this without your support!

Hi there, so happy for you! Great that you are getting your body into this mode of shedding, which of course will be so much easier once you have your band. Are you able to exercise also? That really helped me a lot. I was not an enthusiastic exerciser but since the band that switch in my brain is toggled and I am really enjoying working out and being a walker. I know that this is helping me in every way. Your perseverance is an inspiration -- thanks for keeping us posted!

Even though I have difficulties with exercise do to the arthritis I have in my legs and back, I do walk. I walk up one flight of stairs almost every day. I have walked 1 mile walks to 5x's walks. I am slow at walking, I do use a cane. I might go at turtle's pace, but I am okay with that.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
